MYPNS INC. (“MYPNS”) values you and recognizes that privacy is important to you. We want you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose data.
This Privacy Statement effective as of March 1, 2024 describes the privacy practices of MYPNS for data that we collect:
- through MYPNS.com, which is owned and operated by us, from which you are accessing this Privacy Statement (the “Website”)
- through partner websites not operated by us but running or hosting essential services for MYPNS (the “Partners”)
- through regular or HTML-formatted e-mail or chat messages between us such as the Contact Us email functionality or through other direct contact like pre-sales conference calls (the “Communications”)
By using the above services, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Statement.
This privacy statement does not cover our consulting services and other work directly with you which fall under the terms of the contracts that will executed at that time, including but not limited to statements of work, master services agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
Collection of Personal Data
“Personal Data” is information that can identify you as an individual or relate to an identifiable individual. That individual has the right to review and/or remove the data. To see how this data can be removed where it is controlled by MYPNS, read the section How You Can Access, Change, or Suppress Personal Data. For the information that is controlled by our various service partners, you will need to contact them directly and we have provided links to the privacy policy starting pages of the major ones as of the latest update of this policy page inline below.
MYPSN does not collect any information from you through forms or questionnaires when using our website. However, the act of connecting to our website will cause certain information to be stored by our partners. Also, certain actions you take will also involve your data being provided to the relevant service partners. This includes, but is not limited to:
- The Internet hosting site (InMotion Hosting) and possibly the internet caching services will see your connection and thus your IP address. We do not know or control what they log to provide their services.
- You may enter comments on our blog which will ask for some information such as an e-mail address, and will store information such as the IP address in a WordPress database hosted by InMotion Hosting.
- The MYPNS website uses Google Analytics which provides us information on the number of visitors, what content is popular, etc.
- When using the “Contact Us” function on the Website, it uses your browser’s functionality to open a new blank e-mail message in your default e-mail software which you can send to us. All e-mails sent to MYPNS will contain the information you choose to share and will be stored by Microsoft Office 365 or Google Mail which both provide e-mail service to MYPNS.
- For meetings and training, we use a variety of video conferencing Partners which may change over time. We primary use Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
- The MYPNS website also uses a number of other WordPress plugins like Askimet Anti-Spam which provide necessary functionality and may collect data to perform their various functions.
Use of Personal Data
Any information provided by you is used to understand your needs and provide better service.
MYPNS does not sell customer data. Nor do we disclose this information to third parties except where we use those third parties (listed here as our Partners) to provide a service such as delivery and receipt of e-mail communications, hosting the website or online meetings, etc.
We may use your information for the following reasons:
- To respond to your comment or request
- To provide access to content, shared files, video conference, or to provide connectivity to training and lab resources
- To personalize your website experience
- To improve our products or services based on your needs
We are privacy and security conscious and do what we can to protect your data. Information that you do not wish to disclose is best not included by you via e-mail or things like blog post comments. When working with customers on a consulting engagement, we ensure that a non-disclosure agreement is in place to be able to share more sensitive information.

The Website may contain links to other websites of interest. We cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide while visiting such sites; such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer hard drive. Cookies allows websites to respond to you as an individual and collect generic information about traffic and usage of our Website. We utilize Google Analytics. You may choose to accept or decline cookies, though disabling cookies may limit the full experience of the Website. The Website tries to avoid the use of cookies directly where possible.
Security
MYPNS takes your security seriously. This is why the Website uses a certificate to ensure that it uses HTTPS. However, we cannot guarantee the security of other sites of interest which may be linked.
Unless specifically requested, we ask that you not send us, and you not disclose, on or through the Services or otherwise to us, any Sensitive Personal Data (e.g., social security numbers, national identification number, data related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, ideological or other beliefs, health, biometrics or genetic characteristics, criminal background, trade union membership, or administrative or criminal proceedings and sanctions).
How You Can Access, Change, or Suppress Personal Data
If you would like to review, correct, update, suppress, restrict or delete Personal Data that you have previously provided to us (such as a comment on a blog post), or if you would like to receive an electronic copy of your Personal Data for purposes of transmitting it to another company (to the extent this right to data portability is provided to you by law), you can use the contact information in the section How to Contact Us. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.
In your request, please make clear what Personal Data you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your Personal Data suppressed, or other limitations you would like to put on our use of your Personal Data. For example, if you choose to have a comment removed from one or more of your comments to blog posts removed, provide the blog post name, date, and any other relevant information.
For your protection, we only fulfill requests for the Personal Data associated with the particular e-mail address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.
Please note that we often need to retain certain data for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion (e.g., when you make a purchase, or enter a promotion, you may not be able to change or delete the Personal Data provided until after the completion of such purchase or promotion). There may also be residual data that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed. In addition, there may be certain data that we may not allow you to review for legal, security or other reasons.

General Data Protection Regulation
Please note that for the purposes of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the data controller and its legal representative is MYPNS Inc. The data controller, its legal representative, and the relevant Data Protection Officer may be contacted using the methods listed above. Please be aware that where GDPR applies you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. European Union Minors’ Privacy: Where GDPR applies, we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under age 16 (or such lower age permitted under applicable local law not being lower than age 13).
International Transfer: If you are located where GDPR applies, information that we collect (including through cookies) will be processed and stored in the United States. The appropriate cross-border transfer method governing Personal Data included in such transfers is the EU Standard Contractual Clauses agreement pursuant to EC Decision 2010/87/EU.
